I am matching a vanity to this mirror. Any idea how I should attack it?

My shot in the dark -
Looks like a brown-red undercoat, folllowed by gold leaf. Then scraped / scratched through (with steel wool?). The verdegris green color looks like it is on top - brushed on and wiped off to leave it in the crevices, and maybe spattered randomly.
After a closer look, it looks like it starts with a wood base, and some of the gold and the red have been chipped / scraped clear down to the raw wood.

Use the Colonial Green Stain & Seal for the final rub of the tealish color....trust me. I love that color. I ordered it awhile ago thinking it would be good for another project I was working on at the time...it is fabulous for that patina look

Check into Modern Masters Metal Effects paint. Looks like a normal reddish brown under tone with Metal Effects gold dry brush applied with green patina solution.
